Delta Sigma Pi is continually involved in community service each semester because these events play a pivotal role in the success of the chapter. For several semesters, our brothers have participated in events such as preparing meals for the Ronald McDonald House, building homes for families with Habitat for Humanity, and volunteering at the River Food Pantry. Through these ongoing relationships with volunteer organizations, brothers in Delta Sigma Pi have been able to connect with members in the Madison community and make a direct impact on individuals and their families. When Delta Sigma Pi is able to make a positive impact in the Madison community through providing families food and homes, our chapter is able to grow stronger as it strengthens its relationship in the community. Each semester our Fraternity seeks new opportunities to serve in the Madison community in order to broaden its impact on individuals and build new relationships with others as well.

While community service helps build Delta Sigma Pi’s involvement in the Madison community, it also strengthens the brotherhood throughout our chapter. When our members serve in the community together, it encourages them to work together towards a common goal, which is to help make the Madison community a better place for all individuals. Through participation, our members bring new perspectives, experiences, and ideas to our chapter. Community service events promote diversity in our chapter by bringing these new experiences and perspectives to the forefront. This encourages our chapter to have new viewpoints about how we can make an even greater impact on the Madison community. The community service events that Delta Sigma Pi participates in shapes the long-term success and growth of our chapter.
